The used Bockbüchsflinte Atlas in caliber .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire and 20/70 is a combination long gun that unites a rifle barrel and a shotgun barrel in an over-and-under arrangement. This classic design combines two different barrel and ammunition types in one firearm. This makes the Bockbüchsflinte especially interesting for hunting applications where different game species and shooting distances need to be considered.

The rifle barrel is chambered for the rimfire cartridge .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR). This caliber is to be distinguished from the less powerful cartridge .22 lfB and is used, among other things, for hunting applications. The shotgun barrel is designed for ammunition in caliber 20/70. The designation 20/70 refers to the shotgun caliber 20 with a cartridge case length of 70 mm in the fired state.

As a combination break-action firearm, the Bockbüchsflinte is opened for loading, making the chambers directly accessible. The combination of a rifle and a shotgun barrel allows the use of the respective intended ammunition.
