A firearm from the highest quality manufacturing years ever produced by Smith & Wesson, a model from the S&W production series -0 -4; this means that the frame, hammer, trigger, internals, and the frame are still made from drop-forged parts and not, as in today's production, from die-cast parts!

In the newer versions, most parts are pressed from metal powders (sintering technology), which is cheaper and faster in production but not better!
