Upon impact, the plastic tip is pushed into the cavity, causing rapid expansion of the bullet. The front core breaks apart inside the game, creating fragments that cause extensive internal damage. This results in a high instant effect and short flight distances. The hard-hitting, harder rear core is made of alloyed, hardened lead.
