Sauer 101 Artemis Left-Handed

The Sauer 101 Artemis Bolt-Action Rifle in the compact and lightweight version for left-handed shootersThe Greek name of the goddess of the hunt points to the target group of this version of the Sauer 101. The Artemis model is specially designed for the female physique. This is evident in its low weight, the compact stock, the length, and the slim pistol grip with the reduced distance from the shooting hand to the trigger. The design was also made to be divine.

The System
The steel system – here specially designed for female hunters who shoot left-handed – is manufactured with CNC milling technology. The small 60-degree opening angle of the chamber and the grippy ball on the chamber lever enable fast cycling with high rates of fire. The dry direct trigger with a 950 g trigger pull and the extra-wide match trigger blade ensure a high hit rate.

Sunburst Finish
The bolt of your Sauer 101 Artemis bolt-action rifle is refined with a sunburst finish. In this process, the surface is treated with a grinding wheel so that a sunray-like iridescence radiates from the center. When you move the treated surface, the angle of light incidence changes and the ground area appears to rotate in a circle.

Safety with a Thumb Press
The direct firing pin safety DURA SAFE of the Sauer 101 Artemis is intuitively and quietly engaged by an ergonomic slider on the bolt shroud. It is significantly more reliable in a fall than a trigger safety. The SAFE OPENER allows opening and unloading the rifle while in the safe condition.

Precision in Every Hunting Situation
The extremely stable system bedding EVER REST developed by Sauer ensures the best possible decoupling of stock and system, allowing the barrel to free float. In this version, the Sauer 101 Artemis is offered with barrel lengths of 47, 51, and 56 cm. The 6-lug bolt locks directly in the barrel. The cold hammer-forged steel barrel enables precise shots under one MOA even in extreme climatic conditions.
