The original Magpul AFG-2® (Angled Fore Grip) offers sport shooters, hunters, and law enforcement users a highly advanced, ergonomic shooting platform for all long guns with Picatinny rail systems. The AFG-2 delivers all the proven advantages of the legendary Magpul fore grip in a more compact, slimmer, and shorter design. The reduced space requirement on the mounting rail leaves valuable room for additional accessories, rail covers, or sling mounts, while elevating the weapon’s handling and precision to the next level.
Improved ergonomics & instinctive recoil control

Unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the angled AFG-2 positions the shooter’s support hand high and close to the centerline of the bore. This biomechanically optimized hand position noticeably minimizes muzzle rise, reduces wrist fatigue, and supports faster, intuitive follow-through. The result is significantly quicker target transitions and maximum control during fast, precise follow-up shots.
Adjustable grip geometry with interchangeable finger insert

To perfectly adapt the grip to personal preferences and hand sizes, two different finger inserts are included: one insert with a pronounced finger stop (A2 style) for a defined finger placement and one completely smooth insert for a continuous gripping surface. Made from a high-strength, impact-resistant polymer, the AFG-2 withstands extreme weather conditions, impacts, and chemical influences in demanding continuous use.
Easy installation & original US Mil-Spec quality

The Magpul AFG-2 fits precisely on all standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and NATO STANAG 4694 rails (recommended minimum length approx. 7.6 cm / 3"). With a low weight of only approx. 72 g, the grip barely adds weight. Made in the USA (“Made in the USA”) and certified with official NATO Stock Numbers (NSN), all mounting hardware for quick and secure installation is included.
