This is a beautiful Suhler Drilling that was proofed in November 1991. The marking "Merkel frères" on the barrel bundle indicates high quality for export production.

The Drilling has a muzzle-length detachable barrel installed, which was probably factory-mounted based on the serial number.

The selector and safety are located on the wrist of the stock.

The receiver features a high-quality engraving, right side with game birds, left side with red deer, as well as a monogram engraving "GS" on the pistol grip cap.
The fore- and buttstock have very high-quality stock carvings with oak leaves and a fallow deer.

The stock has the original Suhler plastic cap and sling swivels are mounted on the firearm. The front trigger has a set trigger.

A scope is mounted via a swivel mount with a rotary lock, Zeiss Diavari ZM 3-12x56 T*, reticle 1.
A buffer cartridge is available for each caliber.

The firearm is in almost like new and technically flawless condition, see photos. No rust. The buttstock has hardly any scratches or signs of use. The bluing is deep black, only slightly worn in one spot.
