When stalking, every movement, every sound, and every meter counts. Clothing must neither rustle nor stand out when in contact with gear or vegetation. At the same time, it has to withstand changing weather and perform reliably even on long hunting days. That’s exactly why we developed the Blaser Silence 2L jacket. It’s designed to consistently reduce noise and combine camouflage with reliable weather performance. The Silent Motion material construction is clearly divided into functional zones. In the torso area and under the arms, a knitted 2-layer stretch fleece is used, which remains soft to the touch and produces no audible noise even when moving. In the shoulder and upper arm area, a robust woven stretch material is used, reinforced exactly where stress occurs, without feeling stiff or loud, for example in contact with backpack straps or vegetation. At the same time, it provides enhanced water-repellent DWR treatment and full freedom of movement in the shoulder blade and elbow joint areas. This creates a combination of freedom of movement, durability, and quiet zones where every detail matters. Underarm vents allow excess heat to escape without creating additional noise sources. The 2-layer construction is equipped with a polyurethane membrane and achieves a water column of 10,000 mm with a breathability of 10,000 g per m² in 24 h. Taped seams and a water-repellent Lamoral finish complete the weatherproof design. The jacket is thus fully waterproof while remaining soft and quiet in movement. The Silence Camouflage, inspired by the colors and contrasts of the autumn forest, blends naturally into the surroundings and blurs contours in the terrain. The features are also designed for quiet movement. Two Silence pockets on the front can be closed with a noise-reduced magnetic button and secured against accidental opening with a snap button. They are complemented by two warming hand pockets, two chest pockets, one back pocket, and three inner pockets, some with mesh lining for additional breathability. A radio pocket with antenna opening allows the use of radios. The well-thought-out pocket system ensures that everything important is always within reach without unnecessary movement. Adjustable sleeve cuffs and a regulable hem provide a close fit that keeps warmth inside and doesn’t flap. That’s Silence by Blaser – developed to hunt closer than ever before.
