SIG SAUER ROMEO2 Large Shroud Red Dot – optionally with 3 or 6 MOASIG SAUER Electro-Optics develops modern aiming optics for sporting and professional applications. The SIG SAUER ROMEO2 Large Shroud combines a robust aluminum housing with a large steel shroud, a sealed lens system, and numerous electronic features.

The reflex sight is available in two separate versions: with a fine 3-MOA red dot or a larger 6-MOA red dot. 
3 MOA or 6 MOA – which variant suits you?The smaller 3-MOA dot covers less of the target and is especially suitable for precision-oriented aiming. At a distance of 25 meters, it covers an area of approximately 2.2 centimeters.

The larger 6-MOA dot is easier to see in the sight window and supports quick target acquisition – for example in dynamic shooting sports. At 25 meters, its coverage corresponds to about 4.4 centimeters.

Clear sight picture with 30 mm windowThe SIG SAUER ROMEO2 features an aspherical glass lens with high-performance coating. The design supports high light transmission and a clear sight picture with minimal optical distortion.

The 30 millimeter window makes it easy to quickly find the red dot. The reflex sight operates without magnification and can be used with both eyes open.
15 Adjustable Brightness LevelsFor different lighting conditions, a total of 15 manually selectable illumination levels are available. Twelve of these settings are designed for use in daylight, and three particularly low levels are intended for use with compatible night vision technology.

The D.A.R.C. technology supports an appropriate display of the red dot when used with GEN3+ night vision technology. For operation, the ROMEO2 has recessed brightness buttons that are protected against accidental adjustment.
Large Shroud with Closed Lens SystemThe large steel protective shroud is designed for increased mechanical protection of the optic. Together with the sealed rear polycarbonate window, it transforms the originally open reflex sight into a largely closed system.

This better protects the LED emitter from moisture, dust, and other foreign objects. The ROMEO2 can also be used without the protective shroud if needed, reducing the weight of the optic.

The housing is made of high-strength, CNC-machined 7075 aluminum. The steel protective shroud features a durable Melonite finish.
MOTAC and MAGNETACThe MOTAC technology detects movements of the red dot sight. After a period without movement, the red dot automatically switches off. As soon as the ROMEO2 is moved again, the illumination activates with the last used brightness level.

MAGNETAC complements this function when using a compatible holster with a suitable magnet. When inserting into the holster, the optic automatically switches off. When removing it, the red dot is reactivated. The MAGNETAC™ function explicitly requires a compatible holster.
Up to 25,000 Hours of Battery LifeAt a medium brightness setting, the SIG SAUER ROMEO2 achieves a battery life of up to 25,000 hours. Power is supplied by a standard CR2032 battery.

The spring-loaded battery compartment is located on the side of the housing and is unlocked via a push button. This allows you to change the battery without having to remove the red dot sight from the pistol.
TruHold Zeroing SystemThe non-locking TruHold system works with two adjustment springs. This design is intended to reliably maintain the made elevation and windage adjustments even under the recoil stress of handguns.

The total adjustment range for elevation and windage is 120 MOA each. The adjustment is made in increments of one MOA per click.
PRO and RX FootprintThe SIG SAUER ROMEO2 can be mounted directly on optic-ready pistols from SIG SAUER with PRO or RX bolt cut.

For pistols from other manufacturers, a direct fit is not generally guaranteed. Depending on the existing cut, a suitable adapter plate may be required. A cut referred to as "DeltaPoint Pro" is also not automatically compatible due to possible differences in recoil lug and dimensions.

Please note: Always check the actual optic cut of your pistol before ordering. Direct compatibility is only guaranteed for SIG SAUER pistols prepared with PRO or RX footprint.
