Spartan Light Duty Optics Adapter 1/4"-20 – MagnaSwitch™

Spartan Light Duty Optics Adapter 1/4"-20 – MagnaSwitch™
The Spartan Light Duty Optics Adapter is an ultra-light interface for mounting compact spotting scopes, cameras, and other lightweight devices on compatible Spartan tripods and Davros Heads. It requires a standardized 1/4"-20-UNC female thread on the respective device. Weighing only 5 g, the adapter is barely noticeable even in highly weight-optimized hunting and outdoor gear. It is made from high-strength 7075-T7351 aluminum with a hard-anodized surface. The connection to the optic or camera is made directly via the integrated 1/4"-20-UNC mount. On the Spartan side, the adapter uses the proven MagnaSwitch™ system. This allows a suitably prepared optic to be attached to compatible Spartan support systems within seconds and just as quickly removed. The adapter is suitable, among others, for the Hoplite Mini Tripod, Sentinel and Ascent Tripods, as well as the Davros Heads. Due to its particularly compact design, the Light Duty Optics Adapter is primarily intended for smaller and lighter optics. For larger spotting scopes, heavy cameras, or devices with a 3/8"-16 connection, Spartan offers the separately available Heavy Duty Optics Adapter. Compatibility note: The Light Duty Optics Adapter is exclusively designed for devices with a 1/4"-20-UNC female thread and works with the Spartan MagnaSwitch™ system. It is not compatible with Disc-Lok™. For heavier optics or devices with a 3/8"-16 thread, the Spartan Heavy Duty Optics Adapter is recommended.
