The HIKMICRO T16 is a modern 4G trail camera for digital game monitoring, wildlife observation, and remote area control. It combines fast motion detection with high-resolution photo and video recording, integrated cellular connectivity, and convenient remote management via the HIKMICRO Sight App. A special feature of the T16 is the Dual-FOV system. Depending on the application, you can choose between a more focused field of view of 60° and an especially wide field of view of 100°. This allows the camera to be used both on narrow game trails and for monitoring larger areas. Two PIR sensors detect movement up to 25 m away, while the short trigger time of only 0.4 seconds reliably captures fast-moving game. The native 6-MP image sensor enables photo captures with an output resolution of up to 24 MP. Videos are recorded in Full HD at up to 1,920 × 1,080 pixels. For discreet night shots, the T16 uses a 940-nm No-Glow infrared illumination that operates without a visibly glowing flash. Additionally, audio recording is available via the integrated microphone. Via the integrated 4G connection, recorded photos and videos can be transferred to the HIKMICRO Sight App. The camera features an integrated multi-roaming SIM and can also be managed remotely depending on the chosen data plan. During installation, its own WLAN hotspot allows a live preview on the smartphone, so the framing and alignment can be checked directly on site. Instead of a removable memory card, the T16 has a fixed integrated 64-GB eMMC storage. This keeps the recordings locally available on the camera as well. The robust and weatherproof housing is designed for long-term outdoor use. Power supply for the T16-18650 version offered here is via four 18650 batteries. The matching battery compartment is already included. Alternatively, a separately available battery compartment can be used for twelve AA batteries.
