GLOCK 17 Gen6

GLOCK 17 Gen 6 – The Perfection of the LegendForget everything you thought you knew about "factory Glocks." With the GLOCK 17 Gen 6, the reference class of law enforcement and sport pistols enters a new era. Where expensive tuning was once necessary, Glock now delivers straight from the factory: a grip that fits like a glove, a trigger that breaks like glass, and an optic system that finally delivers on its promises. The Glock 17 Gen 6 is not just an update – it’s the answer to the wishes of elite units and professional shooters worldwide. If you want to buy a no-compromise full-size Glock pistol that’s ready for competition right away, your search ends here. The Glock Pistol 17 Gen6 sets new standards in ergonomics and functionality for sport shooters, hunters, and hobby shooters. With the improved grip design, the palm swell naturally adapts to the hand shape, while the extended beavertail allows for a higher grip and ensures free movement of the slide. The deeper slide serrations provide better grip during manipulations, and the RTF6 grip texture combines two structures for optimal comfort and secure hold. The extended thumb rest area and the enlarged edge around the slide stop lever prevent accidental activation. The flat trigger ensures consistent finger position and reduced trigger travel, supported by interchangeable backstraps in two sizes. The optic-ready system allows direct mounting of optics via three included adapter plates, increasing stability and precision. This pistol impresses with reliability, adaptability, and precise handling in demanding scenarios. Why the Glock 17 Gen6 will change your shooting experience:Ergonomics 2.0: The new double undercut on the trigger guard and the extended beavertail let your hand grip deeper and higher than ever before. The result? Recoil is absorbed more linearly, and the muzzle stays flat.ORS instead of MOS: The new Optic Ready System eliminates wobbly adapter plates. Your optic is anchored deep and rock-solid directly in the slide. That means better co-witness and maximum stability.Traction & Control: The new RTF6 texture and integrated thumb rests ("gas pedals") give you full control even in wet or stressful conditions for the fastest follow-up shots.Performance Trigger: The flat-faced trigger offers a consistent finger position and a defined break characteristic usually only found in custom triggers.Technical DataManufacturer: GLOCKModel: Glock 17 Gen 6Type: 9mm PistolSystem: Semi-automatic pistol (Safe Action)Color: Black (nDLC finish)Caliber: 9mm LugerBarrel length: 114 mm (GMB Marksman Barrel)Magazine capacity: 17 roundsSafety: 3 internal safeties (trigger, firing pin, drop)Sights: Polymer, adjustable (ORS interface)Grip panels: Polymer with RTF6 texture (incl. backstraps)Frame material: High-tech polymer with steel insertsFrame: Steel, gas-nitrided & nDLC coatedTrigger weight: approx. 2500g (flat face design)Length: 202 mmWidth: 34 mmHeight: 139 mmScope of deliveryIf you choose the Glock 17 Gen 6, you get a complete package that leaves nothing to be desired. stert.User manual & safety instructions.Features & performanceAt the shooting range, the Glock 17 Gen 6 reveals its true character. The shooting behavior is so smooth due to the new recoil spring tuning and the optimized grip angle (undercut) that the front sight returns to the target like magic after the shot ("Return to Zero"). The new flat-faced trigger breaks at about 26 Newtons so precisely and clearly that accurate shots at 25 meters become routine. The aggressive RTF6 texture practically anchors the weapon in your hand, even during fast strings or with wet hands. It’s the feeling of absolute control.Comparison Gen6 vs Gen5 & alternativesWhy choose the Gen6? Compared to the proven Gen 5 MOS, you save the cost of expensive steel adapter plates with the Gen 6, as the ORS system is stable from the factory. Also, only the Gen 6 offers the ergonomic features (undercut, gas pedals) that you used to have to pay a gunsmith for. If you prefer something more compact, go for the Glock 19 or Glock 45 – but for maximum sight radius and calm in the shot, the Glock 17 remains king.Legal notes (DE)Attention: Purchase permit required! The acquisition of this weapon is only possible with a valid acquisition permit (EWB) (e.g. hunting license or firearms ownership card with prior entry). The sale is exclusively to persons who have reached the age of 18. Please observe the legal provisions of the Weapons Act (WaffG).FAQDo I need special holsters for the Glock 17 Gen 6?Yes, due to the changed frame geometry (double undercut and thumb rests), form-fitting holsters for the Gen 5 often no longer fit. We recommend holsters specifically designated for Gen 6.Are the magazines backward compatible?Yes, you can continue to use your old Glock 17 magazines (Gen 3, 4, 5) as long as the magazine release is mounted on the left side (standard for right-handers).What is the advantage of the ORS over MOS?With MOS, the optic was often only held on the adapter plate. With ORS, the screws engage deep into the steel of the slide. This is significantly more robust and mounts lower. Is the trigger lighter than on the Gen 5?The nominal weight is the same (approx. 2500g), but due to the flat geometry (flat face) and the improved angle, it feels lighter and crisper. Can I use the backstraps (grip backs) of the Gen 5?No, due to the new grip texture and shape ("palm swell"), the Gen 6 comes with its own matching backstraps. Conclusion / purchase argumentWhy you need this weapon: The Glock 17 Gen 6 is the final word in the era of "Glock tuning." You no longer have to mill, grind, or swap parts. This weapon comes perfect out of the box. You’re not just buying a pistol here, but the result of decades of evolution: maximum reliability paired with ergonomics you have to feel to believe.
