For 35 years, the Beretta Silver Pigeon I Hunting has set the standard in the category of over-under shotguns at Beretta. In 2025, this icon among hunting shotguns comes to market as a new version with technical and aesthetic refinements. Without losing any of its legendary, long-lasting reliability and outstanding ballistics. The Vittoria version was specially adapted to the needs of women and slender shooters.
Perfect fit for intuitive shooting

A key factor for precise, intuitive shooting is a perfectly fitting stock. The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon Vittoria is ideal for women and shooters with a slender build. The adapted pistol grip with a narrower grip radius is specially designed for smaller hands. The raised stock comb with Monte-Carlo effect ensures an optimal sight picture and increases accuracy.
Adjustable stock length and optimized pitch

The stock of this shotgun is tailored to body heights from 158 to 178 cm and offers comfortable recoil behavior with maximum weapon control. The standard stock length is 355 mm but can be adjusted to 350, 360, or 365 mm using optionally available stock caps of different thicknesses, without any woodworking.
Proven bolt system

Based on the excellent 680 platform with its distinctive low, slim mechanism, the receiver features the proven bolt system with enlarged side hinge pins, embedded side plates, and the Beretta locking system with conical, self-adjusting locking bolts. The proven balance has been further improved, with the center of gravity always kept at the height of the hinge pins. Closing the 686 Silver Pigeon I is smoother and requires less force thanks to the newly designed opening lever with a newly positioned release pin.
Stainless steel trigger

The new version features a polished stainless steel trigger that further improves durability. The selector is located on the safety slider and allows the shooter to choose the barrel for the first shot with a simple, quick movement.
Steelium® Optimabore® HP barrels

The Silver Pigeon I Hunting features Steelium® Optimabore® HP barrels with Optimachoke® HP (OCHP) chokes made of high-strength steel. They deliver excellent ballistic performance, reduce recoil and muzzle rise, and ensure perfect, dense, and even shot patterns with any type of ammunition.
Refined engraving aesthetics

The floral motif newly designed by Beretta’s master engravers now seamlessly covers the metal surfaces of the receiver. For the first time, it also extends to the rear of the receiver and adorns the hinge pins. The background with fine micro-lines enhances the depth of the scene. The engravings are created with state-of-the-art Beretta technology, namely a 5-axis laser capable of perfectly engraving rounded surfaces while maintaining continuous design continuity.
