It is one of the most effective all-round camo patterns currently available on the market. The stock is extremely durable and withstands even the toughest conditions. The Soft-Touch finish gives it a particularly grippy surface. The straight comb is ideal for mounting a scope. The stock length (trigger blade to center of butt plate) is 356 mm.Like the other CZ 457 models with polymer stock, the Hunter Strata is also equipped with a second sling swivel stud on the fore-end. This greatly simplifies the mounting of a bipod. The butt plate is made of rubber.Barrel and action with PVD coatingAlmost all metal parts are coated with a matte bronze-colored and extremely durable PVD coating. This not only protects the metal from rust but also makes it resistant to scratches. PVD stands for "Physical Vapour Deposition." Metals such as titanium, chromium, etc., are vaporized and then form a protective layer over the desired workpiece.The 20" (approx. 51 cm) standard barrel without open sights is equipped with a 1/2"-20 UNF muzzle thread on which a compensator is mounted. The compensator reduces any muzzle rise but mainly serves to divert unwanted gas turbulence behind the projectile, thus improving the rifle's accuracy.The action housing is equipped with an 11 mm dovetail rail for mounting a scope. The bolt handle is designed similarly to the CZ 600 Trail. Like all other models in the 457 series, the Hunter Strata features an adjustable trigger. The trigger pull weight is approx. 1100 - 1450 g.
