Franchi Affinity 3 Wood

The Affinity 3 Wood semi-automatic shotgun from Franchi in the version with the elegant wooden stock – elegant and perfectly balanced.The semi-automatic Affinity 3 Wood from the Italian traditional brand Franchi is a semi-automatic shotgun that combines ergonomic design with robustness and low weight. The recoil-operated shotgun looks especially elegant with the wooden stock.

The Stock
With the slim wooden stock of the Affinity 3, the hand rests advantageously close to the sight line. The fore-end with the internal tube magazine is pleasantly slim and light, as it does not require space for a gas-operated system. The bolt cap at the end of the tube can be easily unscrewed. This allows the Affinity 3 to be effortlessly disassembled for cleaning. The stock ends with a stock cap featuring an extra thick “Twin Shock Absorber” (TSA). This recoil pad reduces the perceived recoil by half.

The System
The system of the Affinity 3 consists of an aluminum alloy, with the receiver fitting perfectly into the shotgun. The inertia-driven recoil loading system consists of only three parts – bolt body, spring, and bolt head – making it less prone to issues and very low maintenance. All components are easy to clean. Additionally, the loading process is greatly accelerated. With the inertia-driven system, the gun is very well balanced and the recoil is less harsh.

Trigger and Safety
The safety on the Affinity 3 is located on the trigger guard in front of the trigger. Safety and release are operated with the trigger finger by pressing left or right. As an additional visual signal, a red border warns when the safety is off. The trigger can also be operated with gloves.

The Barrel
The barrel is made of steel and finished with a durable, non-reflective Cerakote coating. This 12/76 caliber version has a length of 71 cm. The barrel is equipped with an 8 mm wide ventilated sight rib carrying a fiberglass front sight. The top of the rib is finely guilloché engraved. The scope includes 3 MC chokes.
