For sale is a SIG M/49 (P210 DK) in caliber 9 mm Luger, an original ordnance pistol of the Danish army. The firearm is in good used condition and represents an extremely interesting piece of history for both collectors and enthusiasts of classic military weapons. This pistol is an example from the third delivery to the Danish armed forces. This series was produced between 1953 and 1961 and is characterized, among other things, by the sandblasted surface and the black Syntogen grip panels – the Syntogen grip panels have been replaced by the classic, cross-ribbed wooden grip panels. The SIG P210 was originally developed based on the design by Charles Petter and is still considered one of the most precise service pistols ever made. Shortly after its introduction, it was adopted by the Danish army as Pistol M/49 and remained in service as an ordnance weapon for decades. Due to its exceptional manufacturing quality and precision, the P210 enjoys a legendary reputation worldwide. This pistol has been converted to the side magazine release (push-button), making magazine changes significantly more comfortable and modern compared to the original heel magazine catch. Two magazines are included in the delivery.
