Puma SGB Hunter's Friend, Brown Jigged Bone

In the SGB line of our overseas representative "PUMA Knife Company USA," you’ll find many reproductions of classic PUMA models from past decades that we no longer produce in Solingen. Some of these special pieces are now also offered to our national customers. All knives in the SGB series feature blades made from German steel according to DIN 1.4116 with a tested hardness of 55-57 HRC!
The PUMA SGB hunter's friend is a reissue of a classic that we already manufactured in the 1950s. This beautiful drop-point design has proven itself very well. This model features a blood groove and a slightly ground blade tip. The handle has a special feature: the scales, riveted with full-length flat tang, are made of “jigged bone” (polished and dyed cattle jawbone with a milled surface texture for better grip)! This gives the "Hunter's friend" a particularly harmonious and stylish look. Additionally, the handle has a finger guard and brass pins. The knife can be used in all areas of nature, e.g. hunting, fishing, camping, and bushcraft. A high-quality brown leather sheath is included.
