The bolt-action rifle Haenel Jaeger NXT with composite stock as a true left-handed version is a straight-pull repeater with manual cocking for tough hunting use.
Thanks to the composite construction, the rifle offers special handling and ergonomics. The zoom stock comb can be quickly and easily adjusted in height using a button, which is positioned so that even when aiming, a precise adjustment of the sight line is possible. In addition, interchangeable stock caps compensate for the stock length and allow tool-free adjustment to the shooter's individual needs.
Additionally, the Jaeger NXT Composite is equipped with soft-touch inserts that are extra grippy and withstand any weather conditions. The new fore-end geometry also ensures that the rifle is easy to grip and rest.
Equipped with a milled Picatinny rail, optics can be easily and repeatably mounted. Furthermore, the i-Sight sighting system offers two options for hunting use: with or without sights. Without sights, the barrel muzzle can be used with an M15x1 thread for attaching a suppressor or muzzle brake.
This version also features a straight-pull torsion bolt that impresses with its brilliant ergonomics. The kickdown chamber handle moves the bolt linearly while simultaneously rotating and locking the bolt in the barrel. In the final step, the chamber handle tensions the system in the front third of the swing range, making the rifle ready to fire.
Safety is ensured by a chamber lock with a slider that can be set to three positions:
safe unload position, where the system is relaxed (left)
red fire position (center)
safety position that blocks the chamber handle (right)
