A bolt cycle that excites: silky smooth, super quiet, and extremely fast. A top-class steel action: incredibly robust and, together with the proven, optionally available saddle mount, guarantees absolute precision.

Manual cocking & automatic firing pin safety - Light. Safe. Comfortable.

The manual cocking of the Sauer 505 flatters every thumb. When it counts, a light thumb press is enough to cock the rifle immediately before the shot. Relaxing the trigger and unloading in the uncocked state are just as smooth. In addition to manual cocking, the Sauer 505 features an automatic firing pin safety inside that prevents firing as long as the rifle is not fully locked. To open the rifle in the uncocked state – for example when loading and unloading – simply push the cocking slider two millimeters forward while unlocking the chamber.

The adjustable Quattro trigger provides the ideal trigger pull weight for every hunting situation – individually adjustable to 350, 750, 1,000, and 1,250 grams. This way, every shooter finds the trigger weight that suits them best.
