Bcd 41 K98

For sale is a Karabiner 98k (manufacturer code bcd/41) in caliber 8x57 IS (8x57 JS). The manufacturer code "bcd" stands for Gustloff-Werke, Waffenwerk Weimar, produced in 1941. The firearm received a civilian reproof in October 2010 at the proof house Eckernförde.

Technically, the Karabiner is fully functional. The barrel has a clearly visible rifling profile, is slightly rough inside in places, but still serviceable. Bolt, safety, and trigger work properly.

The Karabiner is in a clearly used original condition. The metal surfaces show pronounced signs of use as well as stronger corrosion marks and bluing losses in places, as clearly visible in the pictures.
