For sale is a true icon series of American revolver craftsmanship from Smith & Wesson: An S&W Model 686-4 (Distinguished Combat Magnum) in the powerful caliber .357 Magnum (also usable with .38 Special) with the popular 6-inch barrel from the manufacturing year 1996 with Belgian proof.

The Model 686 is based on the extremely robust L-frame, specially developed to effortlessly handle the full stress of continuous fire with strong .357 Magnum loads, while still feeling excellent in the hand. Among connoisseurs and collectors, the modification level “Dash-4” (686-4) is considered the golden era of S&W manufacturing: It is the last series made with the traditional hammer-mounted firing pin as well as from traditionally forged steel lock parts – and still without the later introduced internal lock.
Like new condition and masterful precision

The firearm is in an outstanding, almost like new condition 1-. This revolver has been fired very little and shows only minimal storage marks. The timing of the cylinder closes absolutely flawlessly and crisply, the cylinder chambers as well as the 152 mm long barrel are mirror bright.

With its own weight of approx. 1.25 kg, the full underlug barrel provides a first-class sight radius and noticeably dampens recoil. The mounted ergonomic Hogue rubber grips offer optimal hold and excellent control for sport shooting. The adjustable micrometer screw sight allows precise fine adjustment to the respective ammunition.
