The sight body easily flips up when needed and locks securely under strong spring tension and two detent balls, so it can’t be accidentally knocked down until you press the spring-loaded button on the left side of the base to retract it. Positions the apertures at the same height as the factory sight, simplifying the integration of these sights into your rifle. The base can be securely mounted to any military or commercial Picatinny rail with a standard flathead screwdriver. No protruding buttons or levers that catch on brush, clothing, or other gear.
