The GSG 1911 is a full-size single-action semi-automatic pistol in the design of the Colt® 1911, developed by the legendary firearms designer John M. Browning. The goal in designing this 1911 in caliber .22 was to use as many original-dimension parts as possible. Thus, nearly 80% of all parts of the GSG 1911 are interchangeable with parts from the original Colt® 1911 pistol – true to the motto "Inch made in Germany." The CNC-milled aluminum bolt operates as a blowback action. The finely adjustable trigger with trigger stop sets standards in its class and delights every sport shooter. The equipment includes magazine, firing pin, grip safety, drop safety, and thumb safety. The GSG 1911 has a metal magazine and comes with adjustable sights. The barrel is equipped with a muzzle thread M9x0.75.
