This firearm is a Repeating Rifle Model 98, Caliber .308 Win, used firearm from 1944. The repeater in caliber .308 Win has a very well-preserved solid wood stock, which ends with a metal buttplate. The caliber (7.62) is carved on the underside of the wooden stock. On the right side of the stock is a round head rivet for attaching a rifle sling. The second attachment point is a sling swivel at the front area of the wooden stock. The firearm features open sights (rear sight and front sight mounted). This is an adjustable rear sight with a scale from 1-20 and a ring front sight (front sight protector). The firearm has a three-position wing safety. The firing pin nut on this striker-fired rifle indicates the cocking status of the firearm. The magazine with a capacity of 5 rounds is loaded from the top. There is a device on the barrel for attaching a bayonet.
