The RECON (Reconnaissance Ground Drone) was developed to give Airsoft and MILSIM teams a decisive information advantage on the field. Inspired by real military UGV systems (Unmanned Ground Vehicles), the Stingray Airsoft RICON brings modern reconnaissance technology directly to the Airsoft field. Explore buildings, monitor danger zones, secure routes, and gather valuable information – all without exposing players to unnecessary risks. The RICON moves low, fast, and discreetly through the terrain, delivering live images directly to the operator. This is not a toy. This is a tactical tool. Reconnaissance without risk The RICON enables observation of rooms, buildings, choke points, and terrain areas from a safe distance. This allows teams to scout enemy positions, monitor movements, and make tactical decisions based on real information. Especially in MILSIM scenarios, CQB environments, or objective-based missions, the RICON opens up completely new operational possibilities. Live camera with video recording Equipped with a Sony CCD color camera with a 120° field of view and 600 TVL resolution, the RICON delivers a reliable live image directly to the Operator Control Unit (OCU). The portable controller features an integrated screen and a built-in DVR function for continuous video recording during the mission. Modular payload system The RECON supports modular plug-and-play payloads that can be swapped depending on the mission. Built for real terrain The robust chassis with all-wheel drive was developed for demanding field conditions. Obstacles, gravel, forest paths, or uneven terrain can be easily mastered.
