The Spartan Precision Equipment Ascent Tripod™ Gen 2 Woodland with Davros Pro Head™ is a versatile carbon tripod for hunting, wildlife observation, and demanding use in the field. It serves both as a stable weapon rest and for mounting binoculars, spotting scopes, and other observation optics. The Woodland version offered here reaches a maximum working height of 177 cm, allowing use while standing upright. With a minimum height of about 31 cm, the tripod can also be used for low shooting and observation positions. The core of the system is the included Davros Pro Head™ Gen 2. The magnetic MagnaSwitch™ quick-change system allows appropriately prepared weapons and optics to be attached or swapped on the tripod within seconds. A suitable Spartan adapter is required for the connection and is sold separately. The tripod head offers a wide adjustment range for tilt, lowering, and lateral canting. A separate swivel base enables smooth 360° rotation, for example when observing with a spotting scope. The grippy controls allow friction to be adjusted to the equipment used and the situation. The three tripod legs are made of multilayer carbon fiber and can be completely removed. Together with the included trekking pole handles, they can be used as individual trekking poles – a practical advantage on long hikes, steep ascents, or when retrieving game. Four different leg angles allow adaptation to steep, uneven, or sloping terrain. Large locks and powerful leg locks make operation easy even with gloves.
