Blank firing pistol Zoraki 906 - 9 mm P.A.K. - Until a few years ago, the company ATAK Arms from Turkey was completely unknown here in Germany. This changed abruptly with the import of the Zoraki 914 including the PTB seal. Meanwhile, the scene knows the strengths and weaknesses of the Turkish manufacturer. A huge plus is the reliability. Here they even surpass some German competitors. The Zoraki 906 is a very compact semi-automatic gas pistol with a magazine capacity of 6 rounds in caliber 9mm P.A.K. Unlike its bigger sister, the grip of the 906 is made as a single unit from plastic and therefore has no interchangeable panels. The 906 also features a manual trigger safety, a hammer safety catch, a functional slide stop lever, and a single action only trigger. Thus, the weapon must be cocked before the first shot. Both grip and slide are black in this version. PTB number in the photo may differ from the current PTB number!

Our test assessment:
We were very curious about the compact signal pistol Zoraki 906. As usual with many providers, delivery comes in a black plastic case. Besides the weapon itself, a firing cup, a manual, and a cleaning brush are included. The pistol itself has a very futuristic look. But this is not meant as criticism here. Due to its size, only 2 fingers rest on the grip. The little finger finds no support here, which is sometimes the case with sharp subcompact pistols as well. The blank firing pistol really looks very good. No major machining marks can be found. What immediately catches the eye is the steel insert in the hammer. Durability was invested here. The black finish harmonizes well with the plastic grip. The choice of materials also convinces here. Finally, we performed a short shooting test. With 60 shots fired, it was not a marathon, but it gave us a small preview. Everything worked perfectly as with the bigger sister. Every cartridge, whether brass or steel case, was ignited and ejected afterwards. The only criticism remains the slide stop lever. Due to the small dimensions of the weapon, it sits somewhat awkwardly and requires some force.

In conclusion, we have a positive test result. When comparing the price with the offered performance, we can recommend the Zoraki 906 gas/signal pistol without reservation.
