The CVA Scout TD (Take Down) Stainless is the most versatile single-shot break-action rifle from CVA, specially designed for hunters who demand the highest standards of simplicity, safety, and maximum portability. The outstanding feature of this weapon is its thoughtful take-down design: with just a few hand movements, the rifle can be disassembled without tools. This allows for extremely space-saving transport and discreet storage in a backpack, without sacrificing the proverbial robust reliability of CVA in the slightest.

In the present Stainless version, CVA elevates performance to a new level. By consistently using weather-resistant 416 Stainless Steel for the barrel and action, the weapon effortlessly withstands extreme weather conditions, dirt, and moisture. The combination of classic hunting aesthetics, modern functionality, and uncompromising precision makes the Scout TD Stainless a top-notch companion for the modern hunter in their home territory or during demanding mountain hunts.
Compact precision barrel with muzzle thread

The Scout TD Stainless is equipped with a leading barrel length of 20 inches (approx. 51 cm). To minimize hearing damage, the barrel comes standard with a robust muzzle thread in the common US standard size 5/8"-24 UNEF, which allows for the quick and shot-proof mounting of modern suppressors or effective muzzle brakes.

A fixed integrated Picatinny-Weaver rail is already present on the action housing. This provides an absolutely shot-proof, repeatable base for mounting scopes or red dot sights. Despite the massive all-metal components, the break-action rifle remains a true lightweight at a weight starting from 2.9 kg for long stalking trips. A mechanical sight (Sights) is also available for quick shots right from the factory.

For maximum precision while hunting, the specially tuned CVA Scout match trigger breaks cleanly and dryly to reliably prevent shot pulling. As a classic single-shot rifle, the Scout TD forces the shooter to fully concentrate on the first, decisive shot, but thanks to the smooth break-action system, it offers quick and uncomplicated manual reloading.
Available caliber options

This disassemblable break-action rifle is available in two highly effective and universal calibers:

.223 Rem.: Excellent for predator hunting, sport shooting, and for roe deer. It impresses with a flat trajectory, excellent inherent precision, and minimal recoil behavior.
.308 Win.: The absolute all-rounder for all European big game species. This caliber harmonizes perfectly with short barrels, delivers enormous stopping power, and can be shot extremely comfortably and quietly in conjunction with a suppressor.
