The suppressors of the SOB series are designed as telescopic suppressors (Over-Barrel). A part of the suppressor extends backward over the barrel, allowing for very good damping values to be realized with a short net length. Additionally, the typical first shot noise common in other suppressors is reduced to an absolute minimum. Recoil and muzzle flash are also significantly minimized.The ERA® SILENCER can be easily disassembled: The thread bushings are interchangeable. By replacing the thread bushing, the ERA® SILENCER can also be used on other weapons of the same caliber but with different barrel threads. Also included is a protective shield that is mounted at the rear end of the Over-Barrel suppressor. It protects the barrel thread and the suppressor from damage due to lateral forces and prevents the ingress of dirt and snow. The surface structure ensures significantly less adherence of powder residues inside the suppressor. Externally milled longitudinal grooves provide the necessary grip during installation and allow for faster cooling.
