The zoom stock comb can be quickly and easily adjusted in height using a button, which is positioned so that even while aiming a precise adjustment of the sight line is possible. Interchangeable stock caps serve to compensate the stock length and allow tool-free adjustment to the shooter's individual needs.Additionally, the Jaeger NXT is equipped with soft-touch inserts that are extra grippy and withstand any weather conditions. The new fore-end geometry also ensures the firearm is easy to grip and rest.Equipped with a milled Picatinny rail, a scope can be easily and repeatably mounted. Furthermore, the i-Sight sighting offers two options for hunting use: with or without sights. Without sights, the barrel muzzle can be used with an M15x1 thread for attaching a suppressor or muzzle brake.This version also includes a straight-pull torsion bolt that impresses with its brilliant ergonomics. The kickdown cocking handle moves the bolt linearly while simultaneously rotating and locking the bolt in the barrel. In the final step, the cocking handle tensions the system in the front third of the swing range, making the firearm ready to fire.Safety is ensured by a chamber safety that can be selected via a slider with three positions: safe unload position, where the system is relaxed (left) red fire position (center) safety position that blocks the cocking handle (right)Composite approaches the custom stockThe "custom stock" is done by the shooter themselves in several steps. The stock length is optimized before the hunt. Depending on arm length or clothing thickness, optionally available stock caps can be used without tools to shorten the stock by 7 millimeters or extend it by 5 millimeters.The second step is adjusting the dynamic stock comb to the sight line. This is done during the hunt at the push of a button, tailored to the scope, stalking scope, or for tracking with rear sight and front sight. The adjustment is simple and quick by pressing a button. This solution allows height adjustment even while looking through the sight axis. The button on the right side releases the detent, and the stock is spring-assisted extended.Fore-end for a good gripA finger groove combined with injected soft-touch inserts for the palms and a conical fore-end cut provide an individual and secure grip. No matter where the shooter intuitively grips, the fore-end offers optimal hold for all hand sizes. The lower area of the stock material is additionally reinforced to allow system-open expansion, e.g., for a bipod adapter or Picatinny rails. Different mounts can be securely screwed here.Pistol grip optimized for kickdown cocking handleThe stock with its steep pistol grip is perfectly matched to the kickdown cocking handle of the Jaeger NXT.
