Two switches allow you to set two different operating modes. The Low-Output (L) modes offer a lower lumen output of 50-1,000 lumens for indoor lighting as well as strobe and SOS. The High-Output mode (H) only activates the brightest lumen levels from 3,000 - 18,000 lumens and is suitable for wide terrain. The built-in 12,000 mAh battery can be fully charged in less than 4 hours via the 45-W USB Type-C charging port. A total of 5 LEDs on the grip show the current charge level. The lamp can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices. The grip can be removed to meet different lighting requirements.The Fenix LR80R features an intelligent downshifting sensor that reduces brightness when the flashlight head is less than 60 mm from an object. This helps prevent damage due to excessive heat. The Fenix LR80R is durable, dustproof, and submersible up to 2 m according to protection class IP68.With its six Luminus SST70 LEDs, the LR80R achieves an impressive maximum illumination of 1,130 x 110 m (LxW) with a lifespan of 50,000 h. To avoid accidental activation in a backpack, the lamp can be locked by simply pressing and holding both L & H buttons for 3 seconds. The lightweight lamp is made of robust A6061 aluminum and has a premium Type HAIII hard anodized finish. This material is mainly used for demanding tasks in automotive construction.By using components exclusively of the highest industrial standards, the lamp easily withstands -35 °C to +45 °C as well as tested 1 m drop height.
