The Savage 110 Ultralite Elite in caliber .300 Winchester Magnum combines high hunting performance reserves with a consistently weight-optimized construction. This right-handed version combines the proven Savage-110 system with a PROOF Research carbon fiber barrel, the lightweight MDT HNT26 carbon/magnesium chassis, and the adjustable Savage AccuTrigger™. The 508 mm long barrel consists of a stainless steel core wrapped in carbon fiber and features a lightweight Sendero contour. This construction offers a favorable ratio of low weight, high stiffness, and controlled heat development. The twist rate of 1:10" is tuned to the caliber .300 Win. Mag. At the muzzle, there is a 5/8x24 thread. An Omniport muzzle brake is mounted from the factory. This means the rifle is already prepared for effective reduction of recoil impulse; alternatively, compatible muzzle accessories can be used. The MDT HNT26 chassis features a magnesium center section as well as a fore-end, pistol grip, and buttstock made of carbon fiber. A gun-metal-grey Cerakote coating protects the chassis center section. The foam-filled carbon buttstock has an adjustable cheek rest and a customizable stock length. Four spacers, each 6.35 mm thick, are included. For mounting a scope, a one-piece 20-MOA Picatinny rail is already installed. The integrated ARCA rail facilitates connection with suitable tripods or rests. The flat, removable AICS box magazine holds three cartridges.
