The Savage AXIS 2 in caliber .300 AAC Blackout is a compact and versatile bolt action rifle for hunting and sport shooting. This right-handed version combines a modern, ergonomically redesigned stock with the proven Savage AccuTrigger™ and a short, suppressor-ready barrel. The 16.13" long carbon steel barrel is finished in matte black and features a 5/8x24 muzzle thread. This makes the rifle optimally prepared for use with suitable muzzle accessories. The caliber .300 AAC Blackout is particularly suitable for short barrels and hunting applications at short to medium distances. The newly designed gray synthetic stock offers improved ergonomics with a textured grip and ambidextrous palm rests in the grip area. The removable box magazine holds 4 rounds and allows for quick, convenient reloading. The adjustable AccuTrigger™ allows for individual adjustment of the trigger weight from approximately 1,134 g to 2,722 g.
