The special edition SFP9F OR A1 in FDE (Flat Dark Earth) from Heckler & Koch is a modern single action pistol with a fully pre-tensioned trigger system in caliber 9mm Luger. Based on the proven SFP9, the A1 offers innovations that better meet the changed demands of the law enforcement market than the "classic" SFP9. The ergonomics have been revised, the finger grooves in the grip have been removed, and the slide features significantly more serrations. However, the interchangeable backstraps and side panels have been retained, allowing the shooter to optimize the weapon for their hand "out of the box." An integrated magazine funnel in the grip facilitates reloading, and the bases of the new magazines with increased capacity are now also textured to simplify reloading with gloves or wet / clammy hands. The magazines are backward compatible with the SFP9 & P30 - and the "old" magazines can still be used, depending on the grip size.

The rest of the design and controls conform to the SFP9 standard, featuring the popular SF trigger with a short reset. As an "Optical Ready" variant, the weapon can, of course, be equipped with various red dot sights via adapter plates.

The pistol can be disassembled and reassembled without tools in a contemporary manner. The low hand position is optimal for a precise shot pattern even during rapid fire sequences. The Heckler und Koch model SFP9F A1 is a "full-size" model.

The MR223 conversion system also fits most Mil-Spec AR15s. It can be purchased as a WS for a base weapon in .223, .300 BLK, or 9mm (large magazine well). However, the WS MR223 does NOT work with folding stock adapters (e.g., LAW Tactical), and a trigger with a stronger hammer spring may be necessary.
