The next point is the hand position. The Glock 17 is well balanced and also easy to hold even after many shots due to its overall weight.The slide guide has been crafted very precisely and cleanly. The slide can be retracted perfectly without scratching. Now let's talk about the trigger. We don't need to say much more about the Safe Action system of the Glock 17. It works flawlessly. The resulting trigger characteristic may feel unfamiliar for a newcomer at first. After a few training shots, you get used to it and can hit the pressure point with millimeter precision.We would describe the shooting behavior as quite forgiving. However, this strongly depends on the ammunition. In principle, the Glock 17 Gen 4 is not picky, but you can squeeze a few more millimeters out of it with certain cartridges. According to our testing experience, the 124g Geco cartridge runs very well and with minimal recoil. But even the 140g from the same manufacturer was still very precise, although a rather hard recoil can be felt here.For professional firearm carriers, it should be noted that the Glock 17 also performs well when firing cartridges with increased stopping power.
