MAK hammer bushing for Heckler & Koch MR308, G28 and B&T SPC, APC, GHM

The MAK hammer bushing with a 4.5mm inner diameter is an original accessory part from the Würzburg manufacturer for its tuning triggers. By replacing the originally mounted hammer bushing, the MAK DRS (adjustable) and the MAK FX (fixed) triggers of the current generation can be used in the following firearms:

The installation is simple:
The bushing has an outer diameter of <6mm, a standard 6mm punch is slightly undersized and should work. Alternatively, a 7/32" punch can be used. Additionally, a soft hammer is required.

The hammer is relaxed. The original hammer bushing is marked with "do not remove" and is removed with the punch. Since the bushing serves as an axis for the hammer and hammer spring, it is advisable to leave the punch in place and drive out with the new bushing to prevent the spring from relaxing. The new bushing is inserted and carefully driven in with a soft hammer until it is flush with the trigger housing on both sides. The trigger can now be mounted as usual in the listed firearms.

For B&T firearms with a polymer grip, a thin metal plate must also be placed under the fixing screws to prevent them from pressing into the grip:

simple and quick: a casing mouth can be quickly cut and flattened for this purpose
dimensions: width 17mm, length approx. 5-13mm, thickness maximum 0.5mm
