The Barnes VOR-TX Euro hunting cartridge with the legendary, lead-free TTSX bullet (Tipped Triple-Shock X) in the world-leading caliber .308 Winchester is a highly developed premium deformation cartridge. Loaded with a lightweight, fast 8.5g (130 grs) monolithic copper bullet, this "Euro" load has been specifically optimized for European hunting conditions and shorter barrels. The blue polymer tip improves the ballistic coefficient and initiates an immediate, extremely uniform expansion into four razor-sharp petals upon impact in the game body. Thanks to the solid copper design, the bullet retains nearly 100% of its weight, resulting in excellent penetration and maximum exit wound probability. With an enormous muzzle velocity of 953 m/s and 3825 Joules of energy, this load offers an extremely flat trajectory and is fully approved for all large game species.
