For sale is a very well-maintained Winchester Super Grade XTR as a combined hunting weapon in the universal caliber .30-06 Springfield / 12/76.

This weapon is in exceptionally beautiful overall condition and gives the impression of having been used very little. The bolt closes snugly and play-free, the locking is clean, and the entire weapon immediately conveys the impression of a robust, high-quality, and thoughtfully designed hunting construction.

Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally beautiful, high-quality grained walnut. The right-handed stock with German cheek piece looks very elegant and emphasizes the classic character of this rare Winchester. The barrel bundle with sun cut also gives the weapon a particularly high-quality and well-maintained appearance.

The combination of .30-06 Springfield and 12/76 makes this weapon extremely versatile for hunting. The .30-06 is one of the most proven universal calibers available, widely used worldwide and excellently suited for nearly all native game. The 12/76 shotgun barrel further expands the range of use and makes the weapon a very flexible companion for sitting, stalking, and everyday hunting.

Despite a barrel length of 64 cm, the weapon remains pleasantly maneuverable with an overall length of only 106 cm. The open sights with folding rear sight are present. A Tasco 4-12x50 with reticle 1 is mounted on a swivel mount. Thanks to the existing SM bases, the optics remain modularly interchangeable, allowing for a more modern scope to be mounted if needed without having to rebuild the base mount.

Another advantage is the simple operation: The weapon has only one trigger, keeping the handling clear and straightforward. Safety and barrel selection are combined in a slider and are intuitive to operate – practical for hunting, quickly understandable, and robust.
