The Belgian manufacturer Fabrique Nationale Herstal (FN) is one of Europe's traditional firearms makers and is known for the development and production of long guns and handguns. The caliber .22 lfB is one of the most widely used rimfire cartridges worldwide. The cartridge is characterized by low recoil, high availability, and versatile applications in sport shooting. The designation .22 lfB describes the cartridge and must not be confused with other calibers in the .22 family.
