This high-quality Bockbüchsflinte was manufactured in Austria by the company Franz Sodia in Ferlach. The city of Ferlach is known worldwide as a historic gunsmith town and has been recognized by UNESCO for crafting precise hunting weapons as an intangible cultural heritage.

The firearm features a nitrided steel action and a double barrel hook locking mechanism with Kersten lock. Depicted on the side plates is a red deer on the left side and a roe deer buck on the right side. The Ferlacher Bockbüchsflinte in caliber 7,65R and 12/70 is equipped with a muzzle-length Keppeler insert barrel in caliber 5,6x52R. This model is a self-cocker with a German cheek piece and straight stock. The forend and pistol grip have cut checkering for a good grip feel. A steel pistol grip cap is engraved with the letters "RO". The firearm has an overall length of 104cm with a barrel length of 60cm. The front trigger of the firearm is equipped with a set trigger.
