The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 Traditional is a modern lever-action repeater that has been completely redesigned, combining modern materials and manufacturing methods with a classic design. Designed with a side loading port and side ejection, the firearm is suitable for use with scopes. Other modern features include the muzzle thread, enlarged loading lever, and flat trigger blade. The optics mount is compatible with the Marlin 1894 / 1895 / 336 footprint, and a Picatinny rail with XS Sights Ghost Ring Diopter is already installed; the classic brass bead front sight ensures quick target acquisition. The magazine tube is easily removable, allowing the firearm to be quickly and safely unloaded.

The barrel and action are made of Stainless Steel and finished with a resistant "Armornite" finish, while the stock parts are made of classic American walnut - the fore-end and buttstock feature a textured checkering for a secure grip even with wet or clammy hands. The receiver is forged for maximum durability in all calibers. A modern and solid firearm for the contemporary shooter and hunter.
