The new Magpul DAKA gun case not only offers robust protection for your firearm and optics against shocks, wind, and weather, but also features the modular DAKA GRID system so the case can be quickly and securely adapted to the firearm being transported. The DAKA Hard Case C35 has internal dimensions of 89.7x42.2x14cm (35.3x16.6x5.5“).

The shell is made of closed-cell expanded polypropylene (EPP), a material that offers very good strength while remaining lightweight. The case is also resistant to oils and solvents, as well as UV radiation. Naturally, the case is protected against rain and splashing water thanks to its hard shell and a surrounding seal.

The streamlined design minimizes protruding edges. The hinges, handle, and latches also blend into the streamlined overall look so the case doesn’t catch when loading and unloading. The corners and areas next to the latches are double-walled so shocks are not transferred to the interior. Feet on the bottom and the recessed lid allow the case to be stacked slip-resistant, and recesses on the lid edge provide secure attachment points for straps during transport.

The large latches can be opened and closed with one hand and are secured with a snap button – both closures feature a sturdy recessed eyelet that accommodates large locks without them protruding beyond the case and catching. Additionally, locks can be secured to the case with cable ties or hook-and-loop straps (4 included).

The two ergonomically shaped handles remain securely in position whether open or closed – a third fixed handle is located between the wheels to make handling the case easier and safer. The wheels allow easier maneuvering and storage of the case – they are ball-bearing mounted and rubber-coated for low-resistance and smooth rolling.

The core – structurally and conceptually – of the DAKA Hard Case is the namesake DAKA GRID system. This modular inlay is also made of EPP and therefore does not absorb dirt, oil, or solvents – it doesn’t get dirty and doesn’t age like traditional foam. Several “hole panels” (organizer panels) hold the DAKA blocks, which can be arranged freely and thus adapted modularly and individually to everything. If especially wide firearms need to be transported, e.g. due to bipods or folding stocks, the panels can simply be removed or cut to size.
