The Snakestaff Systems Everyday Carry Tourniquet (ETQ), WIDE is a compact tourniquet specifically designed for everyday carry for individuals who cannot carry a large first aid kit but still do not want to forgo this life-saving tool. It is also ideal for any "Modern Hunter" who makes room for it in a pistol MagPouch. The wide version has the same features as the standard variant but is 1.5" (approx. 38mm) wide instead of 1" (approx. 25.4mm).

Generation 2 features a number of improvements. Most are designed to make applying the tourniquet faster, safer, and easier, and to better compensate for user errors. The glow stick has been removed, as it often activated unintentionally during transport - but this allows the Gen2 to be offered at the same price despite improved materials and more features.

It features useful attributes that simplify application and ease the work for later arriving emergency medical personnel:

- The windlass has a safety carabiner. This prevents the tourniquet from loosening on its own once applied - which could have fatal consequences.
- The windlass is also heavily textured to prevent slipping during application. The Gen2 also features a completely new profile that allows for more efficient force transfer.
- A simplified instruction manual is printed on it, so that even under shock, adrenaline, or ignorance, correct use is possible. Additionally, there is a QR code that leads to a YT tutorial - ideally, one should review this BEFOREHAND ;)

Made from extremely robust and water-repellent material, the ETQ remains operational even after extremely improper handling.

Due to its small size, it can also be stored in stock magazines, pistol grips, or assault grips with appropriate compartments - although the "WIDE" version is naturally a bit wider and the choice of pockets is somewhat limited.
