For sale is an absolutely indestructible classic of German equipment history: An original Bundeswehr signal and flare pistol in the international standard caliber 4 (26.5 mm), manufactured by the renowned traditional manufacturer Geco (Gustav Genschow & Co.). This robust all-steel construction with classic, durable plastic grip panels has stood for uncompromising reliability and highest functionality in emergencies for decades.

This specific example was produced in October 1962 and thus falls into the early and particularly sought-after phase of Bundeswehr equipment among collectors. Historically, this model reflects the rearmament and consolidation era of the young Federal Republic during the Cold War. Thanks to the proven break-action system, the weapon can be operated absolutely safely and intuitively even under extreme weather conditions or while wearing gloves.
Valid civilian proof for immediate use

The decisive advantage of this offer lies in the official, valid civilian proof. While decommissioned military weapons are often legally blocked in Germany, this piece was successfully certified for civilian use by the proof house in Mellrichstadt in 1999. This saves you all additional costs, long waiting times, and the significant bureaucratic effort of a subsequent reproof. The signal pistol is thus legally fully approved for the civilian market and ready for immediate use.

With a moderate weight of around 0.5 kg and an overall length of 210 mm, the short weapon can be easily carried in luggage, on the boat, or in the field. The mechanically precise single-action system works extremely reliably. This version is therefore perfect for a wide range of demanding applications in both professional and private sectors.

The signal pistol is in good used condition (Category 2-). The housing and the 155 mm long barrel show only minimal, historically charming wear and handling marks on the edges. The mechanism locks absolutely tight and free of play, the barrel is clean and without deep scars, and the original grip panels are completely crack-free. The delivery includes exactly one weapon (serial number 23020). Please note the legal acquisition regulations for signal weapons of caliber 4.
