The Archon Firearms Type B Ported with mount for Aimpoint COA red dot sight stands for uncompromising performance in a modern full-size pistol. Developed for professional users, ambitious sport shooters, and anyone expecting maximum control and precision, this setup combines innovative technology with exceptional shooting behavior.

Thanks to the proven AF-Speedlock technology, the Type B already offers an extremely controllable shooting pattern with significantly reduced muzzle rise as standard. In the ported version, this characteristic is further improved: the ported barrel additionally reduces recoil and allows for extremely fast, precise follow-up shots – even during dynamic shooting sequences.

The low bore axis, ergonomic grip geometry, and aggressive Sandpaper Black grip texture ensure maximum control and a secure hold under all conditions. The system is complemented by the new Archon Performance Trigger, which impresses with a clean, direct trigger pull and unleashes the full precision potential of the platform.

The Aimpoint COA Red Dot is not included in the price and can be purchased for 590 EUR.

The Archon Type B Ported not only impresses with its performance but also with its versatility. Additional 18-round replacement magazines are available for 55 Euros each. To match the platform, we also offer high-quality Black Trident holsters for optimal carrying comfort and secure fit.

The system provides a smoother, more predictable, and reduced trigger resistance of about 3.5 lbs, as well as a shortened, distinctly felt reset.

An adjustable over-travel screw allows for fine-tuning of the trigger travel after firing, minimizing unnecessary rearward movement. This further improves the reset and enables the shooter to fully exploit the potential of the low bore axis of the Type B.

All relevant contact surfaces of the mechanism are coated with a PTFE coating to reduce friction. The result is an even smoother trigger behavior and increased durability even with intensive use.

All original factory safeties remain fully intact and fully functional.

Technology & Performance

Thanks to the non-tilting locking system, the barrel remains stable in its position during the shooting cycle. Combined with the particularly low bore axis, this allows for very calm shooting behavior and noticeably better control during rapid follow-up shots.

The advantage of these direct interfaces lies in the stable, low mounting of the red dot sight without additional adapter plates. This improves repeat accuracy and provides a more natural sight picture.
Ergonomics & Modularity

The modular grip allows for individual adjustment to different hand sizes and usage requirements. The pronounced beavertail design supports a high grip position and significantly improves recoil management.
