The Wanger Shard Nitro-X7 G10 from Linder is incredibly sharp, versatile, and looks great.The „Messermagazin“ named the Linder Wanger Shard Nitro-X7 G10 „Knife of the Year 2026“ in its 01/2026 issue – and for good reason, as it combines functional performance with a compact design. The knife, made in full-tang construction and measuring a total of 176 mm, is extremely robust and cuts reliably. It comes with a Kydex sheath with Ulticlip.

The Blade
The finely ground drop-point blade – less than 0.3 mm thick behind the cutting edge – is made of Nitro-X7 steel, which has a very fine and uniform internal structure, ensuring long sharpening intervals. It is 77.05 mm long and cuts reliably in many applications, both in hunting and everyday use, in the kitchen, and for carving.

The Handle
The 100.08 mm long ergonomic handle is made in this version in black from the stable and durable G10 composite material, which is resistant to water and moisture. The grip is optimal, and the handle feels pleasant to the touch.
