Repeater rifle Mod. 98 Greger Neumarkt .30-06 Sprg. with exchange barrel 5.6x57, Kahles 8x56 and EAW swivel mount

The weapon is sold as a complete package with the main barrel in caliber .30-06 Springfield and an additional exchange barrel in caliber 5.6x57. The exchange barrel has a nearly identical serial number and thus makes sense to us as part of this weapon. This results in an interesting hunting combination for the right buyer: .30-06 Sprg. as a universal big game caliber and 5.6x57 as a fast, classic caliber for roe deer and predators.

The rifle has been visually and technically upgraded. The bluing is in like-new condition, the stock has been refurbished and freshly oiled, and the ventilated butt plate has been renewed.

Note on the scope

The mounted Kahles 8x56 shows a frayed reticle. This defect is expressly mentioned and should be taken into account in the pictures or during inspection. The scope is therefore not rated as a like-new optic, but as an existing used optic.

For practical hunting use, it is advisable to later equip the weapon with a modern scope. In our estimation, suitable EAW mounting heads, for example for 30 mm rings, can be used for this purpose. The costs for this typically range around €300.00, depending on the execution and availability.

Condition

The weapon is technically in good condition and fully functional. The bluing is like new, the stock has been refurbished and freshly oiled. The butt plate has been renewed. Pictures and description have been created to the best of our knowledge and as accurately as possible.

Inspection and processing

The weapon can be inspected by appointment and picked up for cash payment.

Shipping within Germany is possible after a weapons law review. After prior agreement and for an additional fee, the weapon can also be sold in EU member states. Please inquire about export and shipping costs separately before purchase.
