For sale is an original Colt conversion system for the Colt Government MK IV / Series 70 in caliber .38 Super Auto.

The system consists of a slide, barrel, guide rod with recoil spring, and a matching magazine. It is an original Colt system with the original Colt markings “Colt's Government Model” and “Government Model MK IV / Series 70”.

The caliber .38 Super Auto is particularly popular among collectors of classic Colt pistols as well as sport-oriented 1911 shooters. Original Colt conversion systems in this caliber are now significantly rarer than comparable systems in .45 ACP or 9 mm Luger.

The offered conversion system features a German nitro proof (Bundesadler / N).
