RBF Target Conversion System Cal. .38 Special Wadcutter, 5" Barrel Length
For sale is a rare RBF Target conversion system in caliber .38 Special Wadcutter with a 5 inch barrel length.

This high-quality match system is a specially developed version for competitive precision shooting based on the 1911 platform. The caliber .38 Special Wadcutter was particularly popular in the classic precision and match area and is now considered an interesting collector's and sports shooter variant.

The original marking on the right side of the slide reads:

“RBF TARGET – .38 SPECIAL WAD CUTTER”

The system features an adjustable match sight and a heavy match slide for maximum precision.

Especially interesting is the comparatively rare version in caliber .38 Special Wadcutter, which is offered significantly less frequently than comparable systems in 9 mm Luger or .45 ACP.

The slide bears a CIP proof mark from the proof house in Ulm from the year 1982. Additionally, there is a German nitro proof (Bundesadler / N) on the barrel.

The installed barrel is a Colt MK IV / Series 70 barrel adapted to the system.

Condition

Very good used condition with only slight signs of use and storage. The bluing is overall well preserved. Markings and inscriptions are clean and clearly legible. Technically and visually well-maintained overall impression.
