Caliber .35Auto, pistol S&W Model 35, magazine 7/seven cartridges metal black, new production code 63M, Triple K USA.
-
Note from Triple K USA:
This pistol was introduced in 1913 to compete with Colt and Savage in the pocket pistol market.
Although it was well made and of high quality, it did not pose a serious threat to the competition as it used a special proprietary cartridge.
The US patent rights were acquired by the Belgian designer Charles P. Clement.
Production of the pistol was discontinued in 1921, and that of the ammunition in 1940.
The pistol can be fired with .32ACP ammunition, but the bullet diameter is too small to grip in the grooves of the barrel; this leads to poor accuracy and feeding issues.
