The fully multi-coated HD lenses made of lanthanum glass guarantee a light transmission of over 90 percent, resulting in a bright, color-accurate, and razor-sharp image.Particularly practical is the side parallax adjustment, which allows for quick adaptation to different distances – starting from just 10 meters (effectively down to a close range of about 8 m). This makes the Ammersee 2-16x44 HD V2 suitable for hunting with front-mounted technology as well as for driven hunts and medium distances. The enormous field of view of 20.5 m provides excellent overview. The fine illuminated fiber reticle 4 with a centered illuminated point in the second image plane impresses with minimal target coverage. The illuminated point is 11-step dimmable, absolutely daylight compatible, and remains free from disturbing stray light even at the highest setting.The housing of the riflescope is made of high-strength duralumin, while all movable components, including the tactical adjustment turrets, are made entirely of metal. The turrets feature precise 1/10 MRAD adjustments as well as a turret system with a zero-stop function. For open use, a larger replacement turret for elevation adjustment is also included. The Ammersee 2-16x44 HD V2 is nitrogen-filled, completely waterproof according to IP6X, and protected against lens fogging thanks to a nano-coating.
